I heard stories about the wild Billy Goat who lives west of us on the steep slopes descending to Orr Springs. The story I heard was that he was "herding" two female sheep. I've seen him several times while driving to the coast. One time he walked right up to the car. It seemed as though he was protecting his two sheep, who were so mellow they didn't even raise their heads from grazing to look at us. Since I could actually see the hair standing up on the back of his neck as he moved towards the car window, I decided to play it safe and took this picture through the windshield. I've seen him four times. amd the last time he was across the road from our driveway. I took 'Hiding' the last time i saw him. http://bit.ly/9EMrEF. All he wants is to hang out with his friends and to be free.
