Artist's Description
We went for a hike a couple of miles south of the town of Mendocino. At the end of the trail we were surprised when we looked back towards the land to see sea lions basking in the sun. (The truth is, I'm not sure if they are seals or sea lions.) The big one in front looked as surprised as we were. I used electronic "brush strokes" to create the effect I wanted in this "painting".. If you click on an area to see the brush strokes, note that the largest composition I am doing is 50% of what you will see in the enlargement.
